Writing THE WITCH AND THE HOUND

I am finishing the last scene of Chapter 4 - The St. Giles Rookery, where the Witch and the Hound are hunting for the serial killer, maybe they will find him.
Lady Elizabeth Gray is traveling at night in an open horse carriage, called a Landau (It's the type of carriage that Queen Elizabeh uses during high ceremonial duties), they were the convertibles of the age, the top could be brought up to protect the passengers from the rain and mud.

The driver would drive riding on the neatest back horse. Ussually such a carriage was pulled by four hourses. The richer people could afford to use matched sets of horses.

They are fully armed and hunting for the serial killer. Will they find him...?

Now the novel is THE WITCH AND THE HOUND

It takes place in the late Victorian period in London, England, where a lady of high society is born a Witch, and with the help of a supernatural Hound starts hunting criminals.

I am hoping it is going to be the first novel of a series, which I am planning to title THE WITCHES GUILD.

Changed my Novel Title from “Visitations” to “The Witch and the Hound”

Since the novel is about a Witch and a supernatural Hound that want to catch a serial killer, I decided to change the title of the book. It is a more interesting title.
I am also moving the timeline from the present day towards the past, I haven’t decided yet where to put the time and place.
I have three possible scenarios:
1. London, around 1864, Brittania is at the height of its power.
2. New York, circa 1898, at a time where the city (and its criminal elements) were growing by leaps and bound.
3. London, around the 1920s, with criminals, spies and crime ridden neighborhoods.

Maybe you can tell me which scenario sounds more interesting.

Hi, I Just Started a new Blog in Blogger

This is my first post in Blogger. I am a novel writer, I have written two novels, one is titled Visitations, and is a thriller about a Witch and a supernatural Hound hunting a serial killer.

The second novel is titled The Drug Lord, and is a thriller about the life of a cartel named the Vargas Cartel, they do deal drugs, among other things, but the reason why they do it is interesting.

I am working on a new novel, called The Fall of the European Union, in a future where Global Warming causes Superstorms and the flooding of many low lying areas in the world, where food and oil are scarce, and machine automation has eliminated most jobs. I call it Historical Fiction, but some other people may call it Dystopian?
